Day 1931: Hello! I'm back!

Hi all.

Remember those scheduled posts I had? Those obviously didn't happen, haha. I ended up not writing anything for many reasons, some of which include hanging out with my boyfriend and his family and packing for my big trip.

I wanted this post to be all fun and instead, it's just a quick update. I hung out with a friend for most of today and am suddenly very sleepy. I still have laundry to fold and so, I must update tomorrow/soon. I hope to have pictures in my next post but I don't have my computer with me so that might have to wait until I return to Milwaukee in July. I have so much to tell you all!

Day 1381: Quick update

Sorry for falling off the face of the earth. Attending lecture and studying takes a lot out of a girl!

I have shadowed my mentor (an opthamologist) twice. Look out for an entry about that in the next two weeks. I have exams coming up. Cell tissue biology tomorrow, neuroscience on Monday and then physiology on Thursday.

After that, I will be heading on a little weekend trip with some school friends. Then some sister time in southern California. Followed by some much needed family-and-friend time back home in the Bay Area.

Oh. I also have a pimple inside my right nostril that hurts like nobody's business.

(It's good to know I'm still random and medical school hasn't made me too boring just yet.)

Day 280: Seven miles and then some

Quick update.

Ran seven miles on Sunday.

Labs today were fine. Meh. Stimulated a frog's gastrocnemius muscle (it's thigh). That was pretty sweet. Totally f-ed up my Organic lab. Yeah, don't worry about it. I worked it out.

Exams galore (Round 2) next week -- Physiology quiz, Physiology lab quiz, Physics exam and Organic exam.

Then ... New York City after that, thank heavens!
