Day 063: Burnt out

I had a test yesterday which I think went fine. To be honest, yesterday feels a million years ago. I've been studying for my upcoming test on Thursday (yes, two days from now) and just doing problems and reading and the usual. I don't know what happened, or how it happened, but class is over in nine days. That's crazy.

We're about to start the last chapter/subject (Chemical Kinetics) tomorrow and I'm completely burnt out. Earlier today, I was sincerely insane -- I'm running on bad sleep (I'm not sleeping well for some reason) and then I had iced coffee so it wasn't good. I was singing random songs outloud (more so than usual) and talking a billion miles a minute and yeah.

I don't know what's going on with me. I think it's time for this all to end. The end is so close but like my friend Chris said, three tests in two weeks -- that's a little extreme. One down, two to go. And we'll probably have an in-class assignment tomorrow that I just can't even think about right now.

Hi Jess,

when you feel burned out or tired, try the foot massage. I am sure it will make you feel better.

Sometimes you need to stop for a moment to think about other people, those you want to help/save instead of thinking about yourself, thinking about what if I ... Thinking about yourself is just like put the weight(in this case "thought")on you. You definitely will feel lots of presure and this is the point that you have the sympton of BURN-OUT!!!

On the otherhand, if you are kind and humble enough to think of those people in the less developed countries and places that you want to help, your thought will elevate out and your presure will evaperate too!!! Even more if this becomes your mission, you will relieve yourself from the burn-out.

I listened to NPR about a story it said that if a person did a kind or helping things to other, his or her happiness will last longer and the day of life will be more meaningful to him/her. Interestingly this may be related to the human chemistry about generating endophin(? not sure the word is right)not from excercising.

This evening, midnight actually, KQED showed the Palestinians enter Israel illigally looking for a job and live in a shack on top of the hill of rocks close to the construction site. I wondered what would become of me if I did not have education to get a decent job, let alone to raise a family!!! In my humble opinion without a good education people's help is up to a limit. That is it!!!
Hope this writing make you feel a little bit better after you read it.

Love,
Dad
